Riders rally at Veterans Home on run to Vietnam Memorial

Approximately 150 riders taking part in the National Veterans Awareness Ride stopped at the veterans home near West Lafayette this morning during their annual pilgrimage to Washington, D.C. The group stops at the veterans home every year.

The riders spent some time with the residents and ate lunch before heading out on their way to an overnight stop in Ohio.

We departed the home at 1:30 for Brookville, Ohio. We arrived to a police escort through town to the AMVETS Post 1789 as people greeted us with flags and cheers. Click here for more.
